It’s always a good sign when even the basics are done right. For ourselves, we went with both the seafood platter crudo and the cooked seafood platter, and both were outstanding. The crudo was incredibly fresh—delicate flavors of the sea, beautifully presented. The cooked platter was rich and satisfying, with each piece thoughtfully prepared and seasoned to let the natural flavors shine. “ We just came back from a three day trip to Modica and had the good fortune of dining at this hidden gem twice. Every single part of the meals we had was delicious, freshly prepared, original, and yet anchored in Sicilian food tradition. For example, the freshly made pasta (I tried both pasta with clams and pasta with pesto and ricotta) was incredible, but the highlight for me was the "Antipasti Mediterraneo", which featured (among other delicacies) marinated cod inside a cannolo crust (fun and delicious) and fish arancini. The portions are generous, and the wine list features the best Sicilian wines, which made our dinners even more enjoyable. The family that owns the restaurant are lovely, warm people, which adds to the charm of this great restaurant right at the heart of Modica. Highly recommended!! ”
